MY 1996 dodge ram 1500 4x4...the air will not blow out of any thing except the defrost vents....?

I was working on the distriutor and knocked off a wire or va line somewhere.....i d;ont know what i would do without you dodge guy;s..this is my first dodge and my first 4x4........my truck is STILL not running right...would the computer keep it running so----so---if i was a hole off on the firing order?
