Is my kitty going to forget me?

So I have to go to seattle Monday through Friday for my grandmothers funeral and I obviously can not take my 14 week old kitten. No one tell me I should not have gotten a kitty it's not like I knew my grandmother was going to p away this soon and the kitty was on my doorstep when I got home from school when she was only (the vet's geuss) 6 weeks old. She is now 3 months and two weeks. I'm going to have my friend watch her while I'm gone. So my question is will she still know me when I come home or will she have forgotten about me and be to attached to my friend?
