Duplo Blocks- for what age group/Are they worth it?

I got my little guy a few Duplo sets when he was eighteen months for Christmas, and he was SO into it, and even now, at four, I find he just enjoys them more. He is so proud of himself when he makes something, " MOMMY, LOOK AT MY HOUSE ! " . I think kids will always go nuts for blocks. LOL.
