Do 7 for all mankind jeans stretch toooo much after wear?

I just got my first pair, and I want to make sure they're perfect. I got size 25 and they fit okay, could be tighter. I figured they would shrink in the wash. BUT I recently heard that 7FAM jeans are notorious for stretching tooooo much, one blogger even said that they became "sweatpants"! So, to anyone who has bought a pair or a couple before, is this true? do they really mively stretch? If they stretch, how much would you say they do? Enough to get a size up?
