Brats, as in bratwurst. He's probably pronouncing it "brots" because that the way someone with a Chicago accent would pronounce it, with a long, flat "A" sound... like the way they say "Chi-CAW-go" instead of "Chi-CA-go". Brats are eaten here in Chicago but to be more accurate they're mostly a Wisconsin thing. In fact there's a popular restaurant just north of the wisconsin/illinois border called The Brat Stop. Chicago is better known for it's Chicago-style hot dogs. Someone should probably fix that script.
