Can a Scion xB survive on the streets of New Orleans?

I'm interested in buying one (they're the cube-on-wheels car). I know they're built low to the ground, so I feel like the first time I'd hit the big pothole at Broadway and Fountainbleau, I'd wreck the whole thing.
