Are there guys who DO NOT want kids?

I am woman and can't stand the thought of having kids. I guess some people would call me bitter....but honestly I am not. I feel strongly about not having kids because I've had way too many negative experiences with them. And the majority of mothers I see look unhappy and tired and worn out. I have 2 German Shepherds that are, to me, WAY better than kids. They don't scream all day or misbehave. They can entertain themselves and run around the yard all day. I don't have to supervise them 24/7. And they are amazing running partners. I just don't see the point of having kids when so MANY resources are already depleting. Millions of people don't have food or water, and I guess I feel like I'm helping the world out by not having children. So I am wondering...are there any guys out there who would be happy living with just a wife and 2 dogs? Is this an "acceptable" idea to anyone?
